asthma medicines, treatments, inhalers, corticosteroids, hydrocortisone, epinephrine, asthma this, asthma that, blablabla… It all seems to be such a hassle at times, doesn’t it?
Almost seems like putting up with your asthma symptoms is actually easier and better than wading through all the confusion and effort of finding the right treatment… not to mention the care and routine that has to go into good asthma management, afterwards.
I used to think like this, but no more. I used to be a victim to my asthma attacks, and to my allergies, and a slave to my inhaler. It’s really very easy to fall into those patterns. Completely normal for any asthmatic person, I would say.
One day I couldn’t take it anymore though. I just looked at myself in the mirror and couldn’t stomach it, and I decided to get control over my treatment and my medications. Whatever it took.
And, guess what? It wasn’t that hard. With the advanced asthma medicines of today, and many advances in asthma therapy being done every single day by doctors, it’s not hard at all! All I needed to do was decide to do it. That’s all you need to do as well.
There are no harmful effects from using inhalers at all. The steroids provided in them have absolutely nothing to do with the steroids denounced in the media and sports of today, they are totally safe. And hydrocortisone is a substance that has also been used extensively and for a long time, with no ill effects whatsoever.
asthma medications aren’t a scary thing. It may seem like that to you, but once you get into the habit of taking them every day, consistently, without thinking about it, it’ll be second nature, and it won’t even bother you. And your attacks an the worry will be a memory of the past.
